The Artist

    My name is Sue Cadamagnani.  I live in scenic Athens, Ohio.  I have always loved flowers, gardening, and creating things.  In the spring of 2009, I started pressing flowers.  It soon became an obsession.  Most of my flower beds consist of plants that press or dry well and I check my garden almost daily in the summer for blooms to pick.  I also use many other natural items such as leaves, ferns, butterflies, rocks and minerals to create  two- and three-dimensional art, jewelry, and other unique items. 

    My work has evolved over the years to include other mediums such as photography, polymer clay, and fiber.  Some of my pieces includes recycled items.

     I have found a wonderful creative outlet and enjoy finding new ways to capture the simple beauty and colors of nature to share with others.
