My name is Sue Cadamagnani. I live in scenic Athens, Ohio. I have always loved flowers, gardening, and creating things. In the spring of 2009, I started pressing flowers. It soon became an obsession. I now purchase mostly plants that I know will press or dry well and check my garden almost daily in the summer for blooms to pick. Therefore, my flower beds aren't very pretty...I also gather wildflowers, leaves, ferns, etc. along my country road. I use these preserved pieces of nature to create framed art, jewelry, and other unique items.
In the past few years I have also started working with garden photography, botanical impressions in polymer clay, garden art and wearable fiber accessories. Some of my creations use recycled jewelry, frames, glass, china and clothing.
I have found a wonderful creative outlet and enjoy finding new ways to capture the simple beauty and colors of nature to share with others.
